Variations of Essie’s Castaway – Photo Heavy

My Essie polish collection is slowing growing and I have a new pink polish to share with you today.  Essie’s Castaway is a perfect bubble gum pink polish that makes me want to have a barbie ponytail to go with it.  The color is opaque with two coats (I did three) and looks great for both hands and toes.  I did have some problems with streaking, which is why I tried covering it with an additional coat.

I’m not really sure why I always have application problems with opaque light pinks but for some reason I do. Oh well, practice will hopefully make perfect someday.

I think As Gold As It Gets looks awesome over pink! It added a little warmth to it.  I also liked how Pink Promise made it have a bit of pink shimmer. What do you think?  I think the gold wins between the two.
