One of the first products I reviewed on my blog was the Le Edge. An almost, razor blade type device used to exfoliate the skin in a hygienic and environmentally safe way. I fell in love with the product and even hosted a giveaway on my site a few months back. If you haven’t seen one before, you have to visit their site and see what this thing is all about. So simple and wont require you to buy any additional products to make it work.

Since doing that review, I have been introduced to a new Brand, KawaiiTokyo, a beauty and skincare line that embodies the essence of Tokyo Pop Culture with their multi-beneficial products in their Brighten-Up Series. The japanese line is also the first (in Japan) to earn certification under the “Halal” standards of islamic law. All Kawaii Tokyo products are certified as Halal and free from both alcohol and animal-based ingredients.

The products are available right now in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia….and hopefully the U.S as it works its way across the globe! I was lucky enough to secure a contact with one of their distributors to test out their products in return for my honest review. That review will be posted at a later date so if this post sounds juicy, be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss my future review. The line uses ingredients such as :

Aldenine: to protect the skin from free radical damage

EGF (epidermal growth factor): to stimulate skin resilience and eliminate spots

Marine Collagen: to diminish signs of aging

Arbutin: brightens the skin by inhibiting tyrosinase and prevents the formation of melanin.

Kawaii Tokyo is yet to be seen in U.S stockists but hopefully that will change soon. For now you can visit their website based out of Australia to try out the line. I love the theme behind the line, fun, clean while still actually treating the skin with ingredients that have been studied to show they work.

You can visit the Australian based Kawaii Tokyo Site here, or follow them on their Facebook page for future updates.

Have any of you tried internationally based products like this before? Im dying to see how the products work out for me when they arrive. I was following a pretty boring skincare regime earlier of Tretinoin and and cerave cleansers and moisturizers…but fell off the wagon a month or so ago. (note to self: FILL RX! ) Well see how this goes!
