Holiday Giveaway 2012 : All Natural Body Butter & Body Scrub…by Me!

I have been really excited to do this little project of mine and so far, and from what people are telling me it’s been a hit, so I’m real excited I get to share it with you guys too. Let me tell you a little bit about what I made.

The Melting Shea Butter Balm was created for my always dry legs. I wanted to make something that was good for my skin and smelled nice. My body butter balm is made with organic materials (except the fragrance) and includes Raw Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Vitamin E and fragrance. I chose these ingredients for their incredible skin-improving properties. Combined, we have a body

For the and. Chimpanzee you review conditioner…

butter that is ultra-moisturizing, soothes the skin, and has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.

The balm literally “melts” on contact and leaves skin with a healthy sheen. I also think it smells super yummy! My first batches were made in Lemon Sugar, Pink Sugar

and Gardenia. It too hard for me to pick a favorite at the moment!

The Exfoliating Body Scrub also has organic ingredients (except for the fragrance) and contains, Sugar, Coconut oil, Coconut shavings (in some versions), Jojoba oil, Sweet Almond oil, Honey and fragrance. This stuff ladies…will change your legs. The sugar has natural exfoliating properties and is less harsh than a salt scrub. The oils practically make it possible to never even have to use the butter balm! I suggest using this scrub at the end of your shower, but before shaving or legs. Scoop as much as you need, there is no need to skimp and rub, rub, rub in small circles to make your skin ultra smooth while the sugar rinses down the drain. I also use this for my manicures and makes my hands feel smooth and moisturized after.

Now that you know the whys and whats of my creation, we now can get to the giveaway! This giveaway will close on Friday, December 28th so be sure to get all your entries in beforehand! And……I am opening this giveaway to the US, Canada and the UK. Finally! An international giveaway!

I really hope you guys like my creation, and will come back to tell me how it worked out for you! Good luck everyone!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

  4. Hi Claudia! Just stumbled upon your blog while researching VersaSpa. Love it! I have two questions for you! 1) Where can I purchase YOUR products (moisturizer & scrub) and I am wondering if you have found any tan extending products that don’t smell yucky? I’ve tried everything from drugstore products to St. Tropez & Bare Minerals. I can’t find anything that doesn’t have that gross smell that gets worse as the day goes on or if you start to sweat. Just wondering if you have any suggestions?? Thank you!

    • Hi Lauren, versaspa is the way to go if you’re willing to go to a salon. Lately I’ve been using NKD SKN lotion to extend a tan, or in my case since I just had a baby and didn’t get sprayed, just use it for a gradual tan. I found it to be non stinky and color was great. Another great one to look into is cocoa brown tan, they come in hot pink bottles. I used that for years but sometimes branch out to see what’s around.

As for MY products I did used to sell them in Etsy, but after two years I had to close shop. Maybe one day I’ll be able to pick it up again but for now it’ll have to wait. thank you for asking though!
