I seriously hit the Sephora bonanza this past birthday because everyone who bought me a gift apparently got it from this store. One of my gifts was the Too Faced In Your Dreams Makeup Palette that included three different looks to choose from: Natural Beauty, Feminine Flirty, and Seductively Smokey; each with instructions and pictures included to achieve each look. I don’t normally follow those directions exactly, but will use them from time to time when I’m feeling clueless.
The Natural Beauty
Silk Stockings (ivory beige), La Cage (bronze/ warm brown and gold shimmer), and Rapture (dark warm brown ) eye shadows. Wanna Play (peachy pink shimmer) blush, and Give it up (pale pink) lip gloss.
This looks can highlight your natural features with just a touch of contouring and gloss.
The Feminine Flirty
Pink Peacock (pale pink shimmer), Swing (silvery taupe shimmer), Fishnet (charcoal grey ) eye shadows. Girly Show (petal pink) blush, and Pink Ice (dusty rose) lip gloss.
This look accentuates the eyes and lips a bit more with some darker colors to apply at the crease of the eye. This is one example of accentuating one facial feature more and keeping other areas subtle such as the cheeks. You aren’t going on stage with this makeup, you’re going out to dinner, or in my case, the office because I prefer a subtle, but smokey eye.
The Seductively Smokey
Full Moon (silver shimmer), Dream On (dark violet), Seduce (midnight blue ) eye shadows, You Hold the Key (pink beige) blush, and Heart On (rosy nude ) lip gloss.
This looks allows for serious deep smokey eye action. Dark purple and blues blend well together but may take some more practice than the more subtle looks. I end up feeling like Elvira if I attempt this one as it appears in the directions. For those who are also afraid of looking like you have two black eyes instead of sexy smokey eyes, you can substitute these shadows for eye liners until you master the look. For those who want to try it anyways, Full Moon is used high along the eye brown to highlight while Dream On us used across the entire lid and Seduce used only at the lash line.
I attempted to get swatches of the blush but couldn’t get them to show up on my camera, but did get the glosses.
I enjoy that there are so many color combinations in the palette to play with and that you don’t have to stick to the format,
they are only there to help if you need it. I also appreciate the fact that so many of the colors are ones I would actually use. My only complaint would be that the lip gloss pans are too close to the pressed powders so you sweep some in there by accident from time to time. The glosses did come with a clear sticker that covered them, but I foolishly ripped it off and threw it away and realized afterwards, so for now I just need to be careful.
I suspect with three different blushes to use this palette is going to last quite some time (yay!) but will probably wont use the glosses as much. Glosses usually don’t have staying power and I’m not carrying around a palette to re-apply during lunch. Although, I imagine it would make traveling with makeup much easier. So in my case, my co-workers will see it before I have my first cup of coffee in the morning….then I’ll switch off to one of the ten choices I haul in my purse each day. Yes, there is a slight addiction to lip products…but nothing to worry about!

I love this pallette. the blush colors are purfect for a little flush to the cheeks. and the color in the middle does a little highlighting of the cheek bone too!
