A few months ago I attended an awesome beauty and fashion summer Soiree put on by Mannfolk PR and Top Tier Media. The swag bags were awesome and I am STILL sorting through all the goodies I got. But one of the first things I tried immediately was nail polish from Ellison’s Organics, a cute little etsy shop filled with three free nail polishes, organic soaps, body oils, masks and more.
I was gifted a beautiful blue called “Cast Your Care-ibbeans Away” and was amazed by the smooth application it gave. The color is a bright baby blue and totally does make you think of tropical waters. I just came back from Cabo and can assure you it matches the water out there!
The brush is superb and paints the polish on in two to three quick strokes. It dries super shiny without a top coat (but I always use one to make it last longer) and lasted days without chipping. As someone who hand washes dishes and types on a computer everyday thats a very important and noticeable feature in polish.
After trying out this color I immediately purchased a hot pink to try out next which garnered several compliments from clients and coworkers. A perfect slightly metallic pink that is perfect for summer, “Pinktini”. I can’t tell you how much I LOVE this pink!
Ellison’s Organics was created by super friendly Carleigh in 2012 in an effort to create all organic bath and body products for her kids to give them (and us) the very best. Her brand has been celebrated by several VIPs and has been seen in gift bags at the MTV awards and Golden Globes! Way to go Carleigh! As a fellow Etsy seller thats pretty impressive.
Her polishes retail for $10 each and soaps range from $3 to $7. If your in the market for an indie polish I highly suggest checking her shop out!
You can follow her on Facebook, twitter, or her etsy shop here.
XOXO
