Teadora Nourishing Body Polish

When I got a chance to review a body scrub I didn’t waste anytime signing up.  With winter here I can already feel my skin getting drier and needing a little bit more help to look healthy and moisturized.  Teadora Beauty is a natural and organic body care line that uses nourishing ingredients sourced from the Amazon rainforest.  The entire line is vegan, cruelty-free, and free of parabens, silicones, phthalates or sulfates.

Teadora is also a community conscience company that makes sure to use ingredients that are fair-trade sourced, and also gives back by giving some of its profits to Tiny Purple Fishes, a   non-profit organization that betters living communities in Brazil and the U.S through a partnership.

The product I was given to try was Teadora Nourishing Body Polish which can be used on wet or dry skin.  I opted to use it only in the shower when my skin was wet and ready to be polished.  During the winter I tend to get more ingrowns on my calves no matter how much lotion I slather on so extra exfoliation is definitely needed.  I found that the polish is fine-grained and not too rough.  It’s definitely worthwhile to take a few minutes per leg and really work it into the skin with small circular motions.  I also used this on my chest that needed some polishing and found no irritation occurred.

The consistency of the scrub is like a clay mask. When I looked at the ingredients I discovered that it has Brazilian white clay in it which is known to draw out impurities and is non-abrasive as it polishes the skin.  I think the little grit you do feel is the ground Acai seeds which makes you feel like you are getting some scrubbing in.

I’m a pretty aggressive scrubber for most parts of my body except my face, neck and chest,  and like a good sized grain to feel the scrub, but I did feel like this did the trick.  It is labeled as a polish instead of a scrub which makes sense that it has a more refined feel to it.

You can find Teadora online at their website, ShopHQ.com, and BeautyKind.com and you can also follow them on their social media.
