Davids Premium Natural Toothpaste

I think of myself as a pretty healthy person. I try to make good choices, but have now become even more aware of the things I choose to use for myself now that I have a daughter that I nurse. Everything that I use, ultimately can affect her so I’ve been come more aware of ingredients more than ever.  One thing I had not thought about though was toothpaste. I have tried different all natural toothpastes in the past but never really found one I stuck with. I recently was given an opportunity to try Davids Natural Toothpaste and thought my readers might want to know a bit more about it.

Davids Natural Toothpaste prides itself on a few things that make it a pretty spectacular product. For one, it’s vegan and cruelty free. It’s formulated without fluoride, sulfates, artificial flavors, sweeteners or preservatives, and it’s made in the USA with USA sourced ingredients.

It may come as a surprise to some that fluoride is a questionable ingredient. After all, we’ve been trained to use a fluoride toothpaste almost our own life, but for some people fluoride is not something they want in products they use.

Sulfates are considered strong detergents and why try to avoid those in our hair products so it only make sense we might want to avoid those in our oral care products as well.

I like the fact that this toothpaste uses xylitol as it’s sweetener because it’s also an ingredient known to help fend off plaque formation and common in baby toothpastes because of that. We are also a stevia household which is also used to help sweeten up this toothpaste. Stevia a natural sweetener that comes from a plant and I’ve been using it for over 10 years now.

I really enjoy the minty flavor of this toothpaste. It’s comes from a blend of wintergreen, spearmint and peppermint and is usually the flavor I go for toothpastes. I hate cinnamon flavors toothpastes, like seriously, WHY? Minty feels so fresh and so clean!

And let’s talk packaging folks. Can we all admire the sleek, minimal and retro styled recyclable metal tube this toothpaste comes in? It has a little turn key so you can squeeze every little last bit out of it. Even the box is made from 100% wind energy.

If you’re looking for a natural alternative to all the other toothpastes out there you may want to check this brand out. You can find out more about Davids Natural Toothpaste by visiting their website or follow them on Facebook or Instagram. If you’re ready to buy you can snag it through their website or at Urban Outfitters!
