Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm

Cruelty Free Makeup Remover

Maybe it’s just me, but the best part of the day is when you wind down and start to get ready for bed. I take my showers at night because thats what makes sense for my schedule and love feeling clean and refreshed before hopping into bed. Usually my winding down routine includes taking off my makeup and doing any skincare treatments I feel like doing that night. I was recently sent Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm and haven’t touched my other makeup removers since.

I haven’t tried anything from Farmacy before, although I have eyed them at Sephora several times without purchasing. Their products come across as healthy and clean and for good reason. They grow their own ingredients on a farm, and combine them in powerful ways backed by science to create effective, clean formulas. Farmacy is cruelty free, and incorporates it’s key proponent in all its products: Echinacea Purpurea, GreenEnvy; a strong antioxidant that promotes even tone of the skin. I’m definitely all for something that evens skintone with every use!

The Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm is a soft (almost cream-like) , solid oil that is housed in jar. The lid holds a mini spatula that comes handy for scooping out the small amount of product you need to remove your makeup. It has a faint scent of lime that smells good and not overpowering. The quick melting balm consists of a blend of Sunflower and Ginger root Oil that gently cleanse the skin by breaking up all traces of makeup while Moringa Tree extract helps purify the skin. Papaya extract is also included and helps with gentle exfoliation.

Just a small amount is needed for this blam to do it’s magic. I decided to try it on a heavy makeup day when I was taking photos to see how it would REALLY work on full coverage foundation, heavy shadows and lots of mascara. This stuff seriously M E L T S everything with ease. I have to say that I’m usually still left with racoon eyes after using makeup remover but not with this one. I made sure to full massage it into the skin and focus on my lids to really give it a good chance. Once water hits it, the balm emulsifies a bit to a milky liquid and rinses away leaving incredibly soft skin. It’s one of those kinds of products that makes you want to touch your face a lot after because it feels so nice and soft!

I’d love to pair this balm with some of their other products that I’ve been eyeing, such as their Honey Drop Light Moisturizer, and their Anti-Aging Kit. Christmas is coming up and I do pick the best gifts for myself, haha!
