Stay A Bronzed Babe During Fall with Colorescience

There’s no doubt about it, I’ve always been a fan of bronzers and glowy looks! I probably have ten different bronzers or more sitting in my makeup drawers with varying depth in their tones so I can use them all year long! So even though we just entered Fall, you better believe my face will still have a natural bronzy glow to it thanks to Colorescience. They make fantastic mineral-based skincare products that were originally geared toward post-procedure skin, but has since developed into a full range of products to protect, perfect and repair.

Colorescience recently sent me a couple of their products that help give me that glow I always crave and I’ve been using them all Summer so I know that these are keepers!  I’ve never tried a bronzing primer, but now I’m absolutely hooked on mineral-based Colorescience Bronzing Perfector Face Primer. I don’t always use primers because they don’t always do what they claim to do, but this one quickly became a favorite of mine.

The product itself has an almost mousse-like texture to it. Slightly thicker, but easily spreadable. You can see the brown tint to the cream, and lucky for me,doesn’t have sparkle. Just one pump works for my entire face and to be honest, works great just by itself for a flawless “no makeup” look because it slightly blurs the skin and leaves behind a velvety finish. If you want something to even skin tone without masking it up with foundation – I’d say this is the product for you. And when I’m willing to go the extra step with foundation – it gives a great “glow from within” look to the skin.

I usually can’t stop there though – I always want to add a little more bronzer to contour the cheeks a bit! For this, I love using the Pressed Mineral Bronzer under my cheekbones, on the temples and across the forehead for a natural bronzed look. I was a little concerned when I first looked at it because it’s only available in one color — but I was pleasantly surprised to see it worked perfect for my skin tone.

Mineral based makeup is a good choice for all skin types. It has less chance of irritating the skin, won’t clog pores, is water resistant, and offers a physical barrier for the skin to protect it from the elements. All Colorescience products have been clinically tested using pure and potent ingredients to give the best results possible, and it has made me a believer in their brand.

I also like to use their Total Eye 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy as a concealer and protector of the under-eye area. Their Sunforgettable brush on sunscreen and Total Protection Face Shield are also two items I frequently reach for in my beauty routine.

You can find Colorescience online on their website, and even amazon which is a authorized retailer for the brand.

Have you tried anything from Colorescience before? Is there something I should try next? I’d really like to try their whipped foundation and have it saved on my Amazon wish list!
