Skincare Favorites From First Aid Beauty – Part 3
By Mudassar
First Aid Beauty made its way into my skincare routine a couple of years ago after a fellow blogger gifted me with some of their products. I will always remember feeling a difference in my skin after trying their cleanser and thinking, WOW, I’ve got to look into this brand more. And here we are, two years later and several products in that make me gush about them more often than they probably want to know.
I have to admit, I have a lot of favorites from the brand. It’s tough for me to make a shortlist since I think so many of their products work well. I love their problem-solving approach to skincare, using ingredients that are clean, gentle, and effective while still offering that luxurious skin pampering feel I think we all deserve.
The first FAB product I was ever introduced to was the Pure Skin Face Cleanser. I’ve written about it before and have brought it up quite a few times on Instagram because it’s that awesome. If you are looking for a simple, clean formula cleanser that can actually remove makeup, dirt, oil, and sunscreen in one step then this one is for you. I can use this cleanser throughout the year but appreciate how much it doesn’t dry out my skin making it more fragile and sensitive. It has a nice whipped cream texture that slightly foams up when you apply it to the skin making it enjoyable to use and utilizes ingredients like aloe, allantoin, and glycerin to hydrate, soothe, and calm the skin leaving it feeling balanced and not stripped.
Bottom line: This cleanser is gentle enough for my skin in any season and gets everything off my face.
Pure Skin Face Cleanser is gluten-free, nut-free, fragrance and colorant free.

Are all hyaluronic acid serums created equal? For the most part, I thought so until I tried this one from First Aid Beauty. What immediately made me like this formula more than some others is that it’s thicker like a gel-cream. It won’t fall between your fingers making you lose precious product. It also has the added benefit of collagen and peptides to plump and strengthen the skin, minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I love using this after my cleanser and toning step so that my skin can absorb treatment serums better than without. I do wish we could see how much product was left in this airless pump because I’m afraid I will run out and waste precious time between ordering and using again, but it’s a small negative compared to all the positives this product brings.
Bottom line: Its gel-like consistency makes it very easy to control application.
Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum is gluten-free.

If you have any type of hyperpigmentation, skin texture, or pore issues then Facial Radiance pads will be your new BFF. These pre-moistened pads sweep away dead skin cells, smooth the skin, refine the look of pores, and leave your skin looking a bit brighter and glowier within weeks. The combination of lactic and glycolic acids work well even for sensitive skin types and is complemented by the soothing antioxidant power of licorice root. I love using these just a few times a week to help with blemishes and sun damage spots. This one comes in two sizes so you can do a trial run before buying the large tub of pads.
Bottom line: I’ve never experienced any irritation using these pads and have less visible breakouts with consistent use.
Facial Radiance Pads are gluten-free, vegan and non-nano.

One of the newest products from FAB is their Ultra Repair Firming Collagen Cream and I fell in love instantly with the texture. Collagen, Peptides and Niacinamide are three powerhouse ingredients in this lightweight cream that work to smooth texture, plump and calm the skin while playing nicely under a variety of foundations and tinted sunscreens I use. If you want to compare this to their Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer I would say this cream is thicker in the jar, but doesn’t feel dense if that makes sense. The face Moisturizer comes out of a pump bottle with a high viscosity giving it a more liquidy feel. I suspect both will work just fine in a hot AZ summer, but the collagen cream have some more anti-aging benefits to it.
Bottom line: The texture won me over and the fact that it has peptides and niacinamide in it’s formula makes it a winning product to me.
Ultra Repair Firming Collagen Cream is suitable for combo, dry and normal skin types.

I never thought an eye cream would make my favorites list, but here we are. Right off the bat I fell in love with its ability to illuminate the eye area with its peachy golden-tone cream giving the dewy finish I always crave. I have light-medium skin and it does a great job of brightening simply with the reflective properties of the pearl spheres within the formula. Best of all, Niacinamide and Sodium Hyaluronate work together to plump the skin, and reduce dark under-eye circle discoloration which I seem to suffer from more and more these days. I think of it as the finishing touch to my skincare routine morning and night.
Bottom line: The gorgeous glow makes me feel like my skin looks younger than it is.
