RMS Beauty Eternal Sunset Collection

I’ve only just started using products from RMS beauty, but what I’ve tried so far has been really nice. I have a cream luminizer that looks so good on the skin, and a peptide mascara that makes my lashes look like they actually exist! There are lots of things from this brand that i would like to try, but they recently released a special collection at a price I could not resist! So guys, I bought the new RMS Beauty Eternal Sunset Collection and I’m going to show you how I use it.

The Eternal Sunset Collection is a limited edition set that includes a luminizing bronzer, a tinted lip balm and a lip/cheek cream, known as their Lip2Cheek product, all in exclusive shades!  I haven’t tried any of these and the value of this set (sold for $48, but RV is $94) so I was easily convinced to drop it into my cart and explore more from the brand

RMS beauty was created by makeup artist Rose Marie Swift, in an effort to create a line that can multitask, and use raw, food-grade, organic, and wild-crafted ingredients in her beautiful products.  Everything’s meant to be intuitive. If you see a color product and feel the whim to tap it into cheeks and lips, you can. Want to use your bronzer as a eye product, go for it. I appreciate the keeping it simple approach because I don’t do elaborate looks, nor do I have time to do so.

The Lip Balm

The Tinted Daily Lip Balm arrived in the LE shade, “Sunset Lane” which is said to have a coral, amber shade. Guys, this lip balm is so stinking pretty. The sleek metallic packaging is gorgeous and the actual product applies like a dream. The balm sweeps across my lips and you instantly feel how nourishing the balm is. Jojoba oil, cocoa butter, and candelilla wax are the featured ingredients in this gloss-free balm, and to whom we own the comfortable feel. This color looks more like a nude shade to me and is very similar to my lips, but luckily is slightly different.  This is a good day-to-day shade for someone like myself that likes to enhance a little and not completely change my look. I actually feel this is closer to lipstick for me since the shade is fairly opaque on my lips, but either way, I like it.

The Multi-task lip & cheek product

The Lip2Cheek is the most gorgeous rose-mauve shade called “Twilight Kiss”.  I’ve been using cream blushes more often and have really enjoyed how pretty and versatile they are. I can tap this onto my cheeks and blend it out with my fingers and also apply it to my lips for a wash of pretty color. Because the product is harder in the pan, than say the Tower 28 or Kosas cream blushes, I find this easier to use. You don’t pick up too much product and it blends nicely into the skin. On the lips, it’s a mute, matte tint. I usually like a little more shine for my lips and will end up putting some type of gloss over it, but such a gorgeous color! These are beautiful, and looking at the shade range RMS has, I see three other shades I could easily rock too. The Lip2Cheek product uses buriti oil for its antioxidant power, shea butter to create a moisturizing formula and cocoa seed butter that’s also rich in antioxidants and moisturizing power.

The bronzer

When I bought this, I thought this was a traditional bronzer, but this is actually a pressed luminizing powder that happens to be a bronze shade, so it will be more subtle and not so much for carving out cheekbones. That said, I still pretty much apply this as I would a typically bronzer but like to brush more on my face in general. I wouldn’t say this is a super shimmery product, but maybe pearl-ish? It definitely helps your skin catch light easier and I love that glowy look on myself. The shade itself is called “Madeira Bronze” and works well for my light-to-medium neutral skin. I can even use this on my eyes as a shadow

Together, these products create a very natural but enhanced look. Purchasing each product alone would have taken more convincing because of their individual price tags, but as a value set this is great, plus I have two limited edition colors that aren’t available separately!

Have you tried anything from RMS beauty before? I’ve got my eye on their radiance base and their un cover-up concealer and cream foundation.

  • I am a big fan of RMS, and I saw this value set, but was worried the the lip balm would be too warm for me. Lovely swatches, I may need to go back and revisit this set! Thanks for the lovely review, Claudia.
