Beautycounter Think Big All In One Mascara
For those of you who missed the announcement on Facebook, I decided I wanted to become a consultant for Beautycounter! I have watched my friend, Steffanie, share about their products over the past year and what once started as an itch to try their makeup, became a full-blown enthusiasm for the brand in it’s entirety!
Beautycounter has shown an exceptional effort to create products that are safe for everyone, using ingredients that meet their strict safety standards, perform well, and take the environment into account when developing the product and packaging. I hold the brand in high regards to this because next to Farmacy Beauty, I feel they are on top of leading the way to more, better-for-you products.
I have previously shared about their Flawless In Five set which is what really sold me on the brand, but since I intend to share more about beautycounter with you guys, It is my duty to try out as much as possible so that I can better help any one of you! Today, I want to share about their Cheeky Clean Cream Blush.
Cheeky Clean is exactly what it says it is, a cream blush, but is a multi-tasker and can be used on lips. I’ve been drawn to cream blushes in the past year and enjoy the dewy punch of color it adds to my cheeks.
The recently released Cheeky Clean Cream blush isn’t replacing their traditional Satin Powder Blush, it’s just offering an alternative that I’m quite excited about! The powder blush does offer radiance, but the cream blush offers dewiness that I enjoy too.
For one, the packaging of the power blush was a sturdy cardboard. It was nice and eco-friendly, but still cardboard. Cheeky Clean blushes are housed in click-close compacts made from PCR plastics and are refillable! Refills will be available in 2022! It also includes a mirror in the compact but it’s not something I need. The packaging definitely elevates the product even more, but there is one peeve I have. There is no label on the back for the color. So I need to open both up to see which one to use. I may need to put an identifying sticker on one so I know which is which.
Cheeky Clean comes in eight buildable shades that work for all skin tones and types. I purchased Cider (soft peach) and Havana (carnation pink). I’ve got my eye on a few more like, Rosebud (rose pink), Paloma ( warm apricot), and Lychee (bright rose).
I appreciate that the actual product material is stiff in the pan. It makes it much easier to control application compared to say, Tower 28 cream blushes that feel like a tub of lipgloss in a compact. These are also much easier to control intensity. Cheeky Clean is meant to be buildable so you can really go to town with your brush or fingers in applying to achieve the perfect color. Inner Beauty Cosmetics also has a nice, stiffer pan of color in their Coco Balm Creme Blush but theirs are a little more matte finish.
When I use Cheeky Clean, I only use one brush in particular and thats a highlighter brush from Wet’n’wild that is small and dense (but not too dense) for controlled application. I have not worn this as a lip product because I enjoy much glossier products on my lips.
I will say that I absolutely love the finish of this product on the skin. It also looks hydrated but not sticky or messy. That said, I do still try to keep my hands off my face because I don’t bother with setting sprays most of the time, and I like the sheen this gives me.
We can owe that gorgeous sheen to the moisturizing qualities of this blush because it contains squalane, jojoba esters, and pigment treated jojoba esters that all aid in creating that creamy, smooth hydrated finish. Squalane is derived from sugar cane and sugar beets, and jojoba is an oil that’s often used in skincare products because it mimic our own skin oils.
I can’t say I’ve had any troubles with wear with this blush. Of course, by the end of the day there is some fading, but I never worry about it smearing or sliding around. I find the colors really easy to build if you want more intense color too. And if you make a mistake, you can dab away with a blender sponge to diffuse.
Cheeky Clean Cream blush is 100% fragrance-free, and has been tested for gluten, soy and peanut allergens. It’s formulated with no mineral oil, no cyclic silicones or synthetic film formers, BHT or PEGs which have been linked to harmful effects in humans. It is also created with only 18 colorants out of the 65 approved for use within the US because of beautycounter’s strict standards.
I love the idea of these being refillable. I haven’t tried popping a pan out just yet, and I don’t see me doing that any time soon. The way I use these, even (mostly) daily means I barely put a dent in them.
Cheeky Clean Cream blush is $38 each, and refills are expected to be $26 each. The price is a bit steeper than I have spent in the past, but the product will last me forever and gives me peace of mind in terms of quality and ingredients.
Have you tried anything from beautycounter yet? I swear by their mascara — nothing else compares! And I’ll continue to share my experience as I try new things (( just ordered more things to try out!)

What beautiful blushes! Havana and Rosebud are colors I would wear all of the time!
The beauty counter cream blushes are right up my alley. I also need to read your mascara review coz your lashes look great!
I bought a BC cream blush and I believe it's Havana but I don't have the box to remember the name! I like that it's not sparkly at all. And it has good staying power especially for me since I tend to touch my face a lot.
