Colorescience Barrier Pro Line
Since the holidays, I got to do a little clothes shopping on Amazon and picked out a few new tops I had my eye on. Having prime really does come in handy because when something turns out to be a dud, I can return it to a few closeby locations and I get a refund pretty quickly. Then I turn around and order a few more things to try! Here are a few tops that I ordered and am keeping!
Confession time first. I actually bought this top back in October, but the other top I was going to share turned out to be terrible and I thought this would be a really good addition since I wear it often! The sleeves are super pretty and add a special touch to an otherwise basic top. I wash and dry this one with all my other clothes and have had no issues. I want more colors.
This quickly became a favorite too and I’ve worn it quite a bit since I’ve gotten it. It’s my new cozy shirt that’s really soft, has nice cuffed wrists to keep me warm, and very thin or thicker shirt material. It for some reason reminds me of putting on your man’s shirt. It’s got a nice relaxed fit and I definitely want more colors of this under $20 shirt.
I think the sleeves on this one actually make it a little more dressy or styled for me! It’s still a pretty basic top, but with a nice open v neck and cute large buttons up the left side. The bishop sleeves are different from anything I have in my closet. I felt it was nicely made, felt comfortable and the price was right keeping it under $30.
I got this in a medium and I have no idea why because I am clearly small on their size chart. It felt oversized — but in the end, I kept it because it still works for me. It’s soft and comfortable enough to pair with jeans, as well as some new grey loungewear I have. And I don’t have many long-sleeve shirts at the moment so a good basic one is always nice to have on hand.
I’m not sure I’ll be able to wear this one much right now because it’s thin and very summery to me. But I’ve wanted this one for a while and figured now was the time to grab it. I was worried it would look like a tent on me, but it’s actually so cute tucked into a pair of skinny jeans. I’m curious how it would look with shorts as well. I’m keeping this one! I think the open crochet areas look nice and I just wear a nude strapless bra underneath. I got this top in a medium.
