A Girl’s Gotta Spa Energizing Citrus Body Wash

As a new mom, I am finding that a lot of the personal time I got to spend on myself has dwindled down to almost nothing as I take on dirty diapers, additional loads of laundry, and nursing marathons for my little girl. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind doing any of it, but it was a dose of reality when I realized the days of double workouts, painting nails and hanging out in the shower are OVER. Showers now are usually quick unless my husband is around to watch the baby while I zone out and take in some “me” time.  I love taking nice, hot, long showers, and what better way to treat myself than with some new bath and body products that smell so good in the bottle. These days, with so little time for myself, I try to make the most of it by using great products that make my shower time “an experience”.

I’ve seen other blogger reviews of A Girl’s Gotta Spa brand and happily obliged to do a review when I was offered.  The entire line is vegan, cruelty free, sulfate and paraben free and blended with citrus essential oils to uplift and invigorate the senses. The formula is 98% all natural, 57% organic and and made with 30% aloe which moisturizes and soothes the skin.

I ended up choosing the Energizing Citrus Body Wash which smells of a delicious mix of lime, lemon and orange all wrapped up into one. I used it both with and without a shower poof and found that it suds up well and created a nice bubbly lather to smooth over the skin. I loved how the scent blossomed in a hot shower and definitely made me want to hang out a little longer in there. In fact, I treated myself to a second lather up with the body wash at the end of shower because I didn’t want to leave and liked the scent so much!  Even with a double lather, my skin was left feeling soft and moisturized.

I can only imagine how wonderful it is to use the full line of products which includes the Energizing Citrus Salt Scrub and Energizing Citrus Body Lotion.  I love a good body scrub to smooth the legs, elbows and feet and topping off with a scented lotion that leaves my skin feeling silky soft.  I’ll have to treat myself to those soon!
