Gift Ideas For Our Stressed Out Friends

The holidays can turn into one of the most stressful times of the year for many of us. I know I feel like I’m spinning my wheels some days and just want a break in the pantry with a face mask and some chocolates. Whatever the reason may be, we love our friends and sometimes a gift is a nice way to show we care. Here are some gift ideas to help those stressed out friends and family members we want to see get some chill time and hopefully relax a little!

Head Massager $1

Guys! I’ve always wanted one of these, but not enough to actually spend money on it. Haha! I found these at Walmart in the holiday section for only a dollar! The tingly scalp massage feels so good and is such a quick and easy item to throw in a stocking or gift bag! Looks like they are a few dollars more online but if you’re quick you can probably snag one in store.

Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus 3 in 1 Aromatherapy Essential Oil $13

Aromatherapy has been around for ages and for good reason — people love it and it works! Bath and Body Works has a great 3 in 1 oil that can be used in the bath, mixed in lotion or straight on the skin for it’s therapeutic benefits like relaxation and clearing the mind. The eucalyptus scent also works wonderfully when you have stuffed sinuses.

Ultimate Facial Kit – Daily Concepts $25

Got a friend that needs to carve out some “me time”? Daily Concepts has a great little kit that includes all the tools needed to get in some skincare time. A stretchy bamboo fiber headband,  cleansing buffer, soft makeup removing cloth, jade roller and makeup sponge round out this perfect gift for your stressed out skincare loving friend.

CBD bath bombs – Life Elements $14-26

CBD has exploded onto the market in the past couple years in a variety of creams, lotions, drops and beyond to help with pain, inflammation, anxiety, stress. And all without the mind-altering effects of THC found in marijuana. There is an overwhelming amount of brands out there offering products but Life Elements stands out among the rest.  California-based Life Elements developed a hand-crafted, sustainable, and ethically sourced line of CBD products for the skin and body. Not only do they have face masks, pain-relief sticks, body oils and serums, but relaxation inducing bath bombs. Gift your friend the gift of true relaxation in these must have bath bombs. They come in 50mg, 100mg, or 200mg sizes and have a chart to help decipher which level to go with.

Hand and Foot Masks – Iroha Nature $9-$25

We all have that one friend that can’t seem to sit down and give themselves a minute. These serum-filled hand and foot masks from Iroha are the perfect solution to that problem. Just 10-20 minutes with these easy-to-use masks nourish the skin of the hands and feet and do so in a non-messy way.  It’s double layered design allows the serum to deeply absorb into the skin, nails and cuticles while the outer shell locks it all in. Grab a few of these for your friends AND yourself! My favorite is the peach hand masks. They smell SO good!

Room Energy Clearing Spray – Linda Lauren $10-$20

Have a friend who could use a little more positive energy surrounding them? Linda Lauren is a psychic medium created a room energy spray that helps remove all those heavy negative vibes with a blend of natural essential oils and herbs combined with Reiki healing. It comes in a handy travel size (perfect for travel and hotel rooms) and a larger size to keep at home! It actually smells very light and clean!

Synergy Himalayan Salt Body Scrub – A Girl’s Gotta Spa $28

A good hot bath or shower always makes me feel better when I’ve had a bad day. It may not fix the problem, but it’s the temporary mood booster I can go to at any time. A Girl’s Gotta Spa’s Synergy Himalayan Salt Body Scrub is the perfect gift for our stressed out bath time lovers. This scrub is made with pure lavender essential oil which soothes and relaxes, cedarwood oil which acts as an anti-inflammatory while pink himalayan salt gentle exfoliates to produce soft, smooth skin. This might be the prettiest scrub I’ve ever seen!

Body Butters – Bliss $5-12

There is something I find extra soothing about slathering on a good, moisturizing body butter. Typically after a warm shower, but also right before bed time. Bliss Body Butters are a cult-favorite that sinks into the skin while nourishing with shea butter and coconut oil sans the greasy feel. It’s the exact formula that’s available in their spas and works for all skin types. Bliss body butters come in four scent options, one being fragrance-free.

Celliant Performance Sheets – Sleepletics $114-$170

Sleepletics Celliant Sheets help induce a better sleep (and post-workout recovery) with its infrared energy technology. Celliant fabrics help convert our own body heat into infrared energy. I’m a huge fan of infrared saunas, and love the idea of increasing circulation while you sleep. Improved circulation helps deliver nutrients and oxygen to tired muscles so you feel better in the morning!

A Good Laugh – Always Fits – $ varies

Sometimes it seems like our friends already have everything they could possibly need — so why not just give them a good laugh and let them know you’re on the same page as them with a card or something small. This bag made me snort and I had to buy it.

Magic of Masking face mask kit – Freeman Beauty (link to come)

I love discovery kits like these because you can try a few things out, and if something isn’t for your skin type you can share it with a friend. I used to love Freeman Beauty peeling masks from when I was a teen and I think everyone could use ten minutes relaxing with a face mask on. This exclusive set can be found at Ulta beauty online and instore!
