Ok first off, we need to change the name of this polish to either Mermaid’s Tail or Fish Scales because what you are about to see is some of the prettiest glitter polish I’ve seen. Today, I bring you Milani Jewel FX in Teal. Do you see what I mean people? How can you just call this teal? There is A LOT more going on with this polish that a blah name like teal.
I have worn this polish for about three days now and keep finding myself staring at it very often. The glitters in this polish are “chunky” in my opinion and have a bit of a concave bend to them so they really pick up light and glitter very well! Even though the glitter has a bit of a bend to them, the polish applies mostly smoothly and can be easily covered with a top coat like Seche Vite to make it even out.
I’ve never owned a Milani polish before and I’m eager to go back to Target and get the rest of the Jewel FX line. I think each of them was around $3.50 and there was a handful of colors to choose from, in my case–all.
I have two coats of Milani Jewel FX over Sally Hansen’s Ivy League a metallic yellow-lime green polish that I love to water marble with. I thought it went perfect with the micro blue-aqua glitter, larger bright green, silver and blue-aqua foil glitters!
