[Review] Lumavera FILLER: Dual Peptide Lip Volumizer & GIVEAWAY!

If you couldn’t tell I’ve been on a Lumavera Product Binge/Spree! I have (luckily) been invited to give all their products a trial run and have been happy with everything so far. Lumavera is a luxury skincare line that uses high levels of antioxidants and plant stem-cell technology to give you youthful-looking skin. And let me add one, is of the FIRST skincare lines that are capable of revitalizing dermal stem cells back into healthy, youthful state. No parabens. No Sulfates. No artificial colors or fragrances….not even a drop of petrochemicals (petroleum based ingredients) are put into their products so that you receive the very best that science and skincare can provide.

Today, I get to share with you Lumavera’s FILLER: Dual Peptide Lip Volumizer. Quite a name there!

I’ll shorten it to Lumavera’s Lip Volumizer for the remainder of this post. Not yet advertised on their site, the lip volumizer will retail for $20 a tube. It is NOT a lip balm or salve, but an aloe-based gel like lip serum that produces no shine (men-friendly) and dramatically soothes while smoothing the lips.

What makes Lumavera’s Lip Volumizer so special though? Unlike regular lip balms that create an occlusive barrier on the skin, Lumavera believes that you need to infuse moisture into the delicate skin of the lips first before “sealing” them with an occlusive, like a waxy lip balm. Hyaluronic acid (something found naturally in our bodies) helps hold onto much needed moisture by swelling up with water making fine lines/wrinkles less noticeable. It’s also found in a lot of facial creams and treatments for the same purpose. Lumavera also uses plant-based jellies as an alternative to waxes and petroleum based ingredients to keep the good stuff right where you want it! And last but not least, peptides also aid in skin repair and keeping the skin moisturized –minimizing dryness and wrinkles — two things I definitely don’t want my lips being described with!

It was recommended to me to apply throughout the day — something I’ve done religiously since receiving the products two weeks ago. I really wasn’t sure what to expect — I love all lip products — but when I saw volumizer I was afraid it had the tingly stuff in it that my skin CANNOT tolerate. Thank god this lip treatment has no tinglers in it for its volumizing effect! Instead of using the burn-y, uncomfortable stuff (like niacinamide or nicotinimide), it relys on hyaluronic acid to plump the skin. To that I say Hells Yeah! This stuff works for me! I have a condition that causing the skin around my lips/on my lips to get very irritated and bars me from trying a lot of fun things out there. I can use this with NO problems occurring. I can wear lipstick without having dry, flaky, irritated lips! Woot!

I highly recommend you follow this brand and see what they have planned. Their products have impressed me thus far and I can only look forward to what they plan to unveil in the future. Need another opinion? Want to try it for yourself? I’m going to hook you guys up…
