I have a total love affair with facial sprays. Ever since I tried a few this year, I have keep them in my skincare arsenal and use them almost daily. The latest addition to my collection is Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe, herbs and rosewater. Heaven in a bottle I tell ya! The perfect makeup refresher, skin soother and light hydrator all in one.
I received a bottle gratis at The LA Makeup show, and after hearing Internationally known Makeup Artist, James Vincent speak about his love for the product, I couldn’t wait to try it out at home. I have tried the Mario Badescu drying lotion in the past and was a fan of the product, but my ever growing love of investigating new brands and products had lead me astray from the brand, so I was glad to be reintroduced with such a fabulous product. I also couldn’t help but notice fellow beauty blogger Alyson from Gloss Menagerie saying how she loved the brand as a whole.
The bottle gives a full face mist of delicately scented rosewater in one shot. And at 4 oz a bottle this should last for quite some time since only one spritz is needed at a time. There is also a 8oz bottle available for those who need to hoard up! The formula includes aloe to hydrate skin, a few extracts such as Rosa Canina Extract,Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Leaf Extract,Fucus Vesiculosus Extract,Gardenia Florida Fruit to round up to soothe skin as well.
I mostly use this as a skin hydrator after cleansing in the AM and PM and don’t really both to refresh makeup mid-day. I kinda forget I even have makeup on and once it’s off, it’s off so no need refreshing! I love how it makes my skin feel hydrated without having to layer on a moisturizer as well. Some days you just wanna be lazy, ya know? it’s also great after doing a deep cleansing mask which can sometimes leave my skin a bit pink and feeling dryer than usual. Again, just one spritz and I let it just naturally sink into the skin and don’t pat or wipe with my face.
Facial sprays like these are a definitely must have in my opinion because they are so versatile and work for my any skincare types. They are easy to pack in a to go bag and make your skin feel gorgeous.
