Get Glowing Skin With Borika Body

There’s no doubt about it, I love using body scrubs! I’ve always got a tub planted in my shower and have others waiting to be used in my cupboards. OK, I may be a bit of a bath and body hoarder. You got me! So naturally, when I was contacted to try Borika Body’s organic body scrubs there was no hesitation in my response. Send them on over!

Borika Body specializes in organic, vegan and cruelty-free scrubs that are made with all natural ingredients that are safe for you and the environment. Whether you have dry, oily or sensitive skin, Borika Body has a scrub that works to improve overall tone and texture of your skin.  Each scrub is made with a blend of ingredients like coffee grounds, coconut, Himalayan salts, cocoa, or cinnamon that work to reveal a fresh, smooth and healthy layer of skin.

I was sent two different kinds of scrubs to try, their Mandarin Cocoa scrub and their Coffee and Coconut Scrub. The Coffee and Coconut scrub is suitable for normal to dry skin types and can be used on both the face and body. The formula also includes Himalayan salt which improves hydration of the skin because of the trace elements that it contains. Virgin Coconut oil deeply hydrates the skin which is the perfect compliment to my long, hot showers. It basically feels like I don’t need lotion after my bath (but I always do because I like to use it). My legs feel polished and my elbows feel smooth!

The scrub has a right amount of grit to it. Nothing uncomfortable, but has enough to make a difference in the feel of your skin. And it definitely has that deep coffee aroma once you screw open the jar and apply it all over!

The Mandarin Cocoa scrub works wonderfully for sensitive skin types which made me a bit more comfortable trying it out on my face. I LOVED the scent of this scrub. Nice and chocolately! The special ingredient in this scrub is almond oil which is one of my favorite body oils of choice to use. It’s high in vitamin E, absorbs well, and can soothe sensitive skin. It also includes brown sugar for a good, effective scrub. I made sure to give my face and neck and good massage with this one and loved how my skin felt transformed. We often forget to exfoliate our neck, but it can make such a difference when you do. Just be sure to follow with a good facial cream or serum since the skin is prepped for ideal absorption at this point!

I like that this brand kept their products on the affordable side, capping it at $25 and under. Many times brands with organic ingredients tend to jump up in price but these are doable for me.
