Favorites from Supplement and Skincare brand: Moon Juice

Have you heard of Moon Juice before? They are a plant-sourced supplement and beauty company that’s been around since 2012. I’ll admit I didn’t totally understand it before….health powders? Things called moon dust and dream dust that did things for the body? Back then it was a bit more far fetched but fast-forward to today and I think people in general are more open to finding natural ways to improve their health.

Adaptogens play a huge role throughout the brand in both their supplements and skincare and I’m into it. What are adaptogens? Adaptogens are natural ingredients that help the body adapt and respond to stress and restore balance. 

How Does Moon Juice Differ From Other Brands?

But what sets Moon Juice apart from others? Their ingredients are traceable, meaning you can know the source. Where does this ingredient come from? And dosed effectively. So it works! Everything is bioavailable or bioactive, meaning the body can absorb it quickly and put it to use, and it isn’t just flushed out of the system. The Skin Plumper – Plump Jelly Hyaluronic Serum

Skin needs hydration and that’s what Plump Jelly Serum serves up! This isn’t just some basic  HA serum. Using a blend of hyaluronic acid, PGA Peptides, Beet Amino Acids and Silver Ear Mushroom, this serum draws water into the skin and cells. Not only does it hydrate, it also helps support a healthy skin barrier with the addition of adaptogen, Reishi which fights inflammation, and acts as an antioxidant hydrating as it repairs skin. 

This product is jelly-like in texture and silky to the touch on the skin. It has a scent to it which I discovered is a blend of rose Damascus oil, sandalwood, and patchouli. The scent isn’t over-powering and smells quite nice. I don’t know if there are benefits to those oils, but the formula lists them as fragrance.

The Energy Pick Me Up – Ting 

Feel like you need a pick-me-up sometimes? I do too. Sometimes it’s a sluggish morning. Or I have a workout I need to get done. Or I’m just dragging for whatever reason. When that happens I can reach for Ting, a non-stimulant energy and metabolism booster that I can use without worry of overdoing it. 

I switched to this from a highly caffeinated pre-workout I drank every morning. I had to stop high caffeine spikes due to health issues but felt I needed an energy boost to get me through workouts. That’s where Ting saved me. I could still get through my CrossFit workouts without feeling like my heart was racing and going to explode. Relaxation in a cup – Magnesi-OM

How are your stress levels? Mine are usually higher than I’d like, so I try to do all the things to keep it to a minimum. A supplement is welcome because I can’t seem to fix it all on my own. Magnesi-OM is designed to help you chill. Moon Juice gives me the things my body needs without the worry of exposure to the endless amount of unnecessary ingredients put in products I consume. As I get older, the saying, health is wealth, rings truer each day. I want to be healthy, grow old, and watch my daughter grow up. I want to be healthy so I can be a part of her life. So that I can live life and enjoy it.
