Revisiting A Forgotten Favorite: Pixi Beauty Rose Cream Cleanser

I had strayed from Pixi Beauty over the years but I recently got reacquainted with a forgotten favorite and I wanted to share it with you guys. So if you have normal to dry skin and would like to know more about a gentle cleanser, read on. You just might grow to love Pixi Rose Cream Cleanser just as much as I do.

Their Rose Cream Cleanser is mud-based and is designed to be suitable for even the most sensitive skin types. They say it’s for all skin types, but I’m not sure oily or acneic would appreciate it as much.

Being that it’s mud-based, it’s mineral-rich which can help protect and nourish the skin for healthy aging. Personally, I finally this a very comforting cleanser.  It doesn’t foam at all. It’s a pink-hued mud that easily massages into the skin to loosen dirt, oil, and makeup in one comfortable sweep.

I save this cleanser for my shower. That way I get a good steam before I go in with the cleanser for deep-down clean. I wouldn’t expect this cleanser to remove my most budge-proof mascara, but it does do a good job for general use. It also leaves my skin feeling softer than usual after using it.

The cleanser contains aloe and chamomile to soothe while rose and avocado oils condition. I would choose this cleanser if my face was irritated or I overdid it with other skincare products. It does have fragrance which I don’t mind, and smells like roses.

The rose cream cleanser is part of the Pixi Rose Collection which has several counterparts for face and body. The rose collection was a popular choice when I lived in CA and has returned 4 years later in the Sonoran desert.

Other choices from the Rose Collection that deserve mentioning are Rose Caviar Essence (jelly moisture with rose petal bits), Rose Glow Mist (fine facial mist), and their Rose Ceramide Cream (a deeply hydrating lotion).

I am happy to see that Pixi Rose Cream Cleanser is available at several retailers and the price is approximately $18 for a full-sized tube. I would purchase it again if I saw it in stores and needed a new cleanser. I can use this one year-round without issue.
