If you follow my blog, you already know that I’m a huge fan of the brand Nudestix. Easy to use, cruelty-free line that makes the your no makeup look seriously on point.  I always have a handful of their lip, eye and brow products in my makeup bags and have been using them almost daily for the past couple of years.

I was invited to share a few colors from their Magnetic Eye Color product line that comes in 10 matte and 9 luminous colors. These all-in-one pencils are long-lasting, budge proof and quick drying. I’m definitely someone who doesn’t have time to touch up makeup through out the day so long lasting is very important to me.

It Each pencil comes with it’s own cute little travel tin that has a mirror and included sharpener so you never left with a stubby pencil. Depending on the color you choose they can be used as liners, full eyelid color, or highlighters!

The colors I received are Terra (Matte Nude Brown), Queen Olive (Luminous Gold Green), and Taupe (Matte Brown Grey). Each color glides on like butter. Seriously, one of the most smooth applications of eye makeup ever. And depending on how bold you want the color you can leave it or smudge it. I tend to lean for more natural, less bold looks so everything gets smudged. Just make sure you don’t wait too long to smudge because it locks in place pretty quickly!

I paired these looks with Nudestix Eyebrow Stylus Pencil and their Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm (Rebel)- one of the most comfortable lip products I keep in my makeup bag.

There are so many gorgeous colors in this line that I have my eye on. Particularly the Twilight which looks like a grey gold to me, and Putty and Moon, two light matte colors that work for easy daytime looks for me. Each pencil retails for $24 and can be found at Sephora, Urban Outfitters and Blue Mercury.

Nudestix Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm

For the past couple weeks NUDESTIX has been slowly unveiling snipets of their latest creation on social media and I was lucky enough to get my hands on some of them to test out.  The NUDESTIX Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm is the latest addition to the NUDESTIX family and are perfect for the upcoming summer season, serving both as a balmy lip color, and sheer wash of color for the cheeks. Being that I am already a fan of NUDESTIX I knew these were going to be awesome.

These lip crayons are available in eight shades, six being nudes and two berry options. The Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm moisturizes with grape seed, sunflower, cotton seed and soybean for a healthy looking lip while the formula stays thin and wearable unlike a heavier gloss. Glosses can get thick and sticky while these remain smooth and have some slip to them.  They can also be layered over your favorite lip pencil to add some depth to the color you wear underneath.

The two colors I received were Fate and Pulse. Fate is closest to a “clear” balm that you’ll get in this set but with a faint wash of ballerina pink to it. It almost creates an icy looking lip without the frost look.  Pulse is described as a “pretty plum nude” is one pretty perfect color for me. It honestly would be too hard for me to choose a favorite from these two because they are both equally wearable colors for myself.

Each NUDESTIX Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm retails for $24 each and is housed in a collectible mirrored tin along with its own sharpener. I love using these tins to carry my makeup around in my purse or diaper bag. It’s the perfect size for essentials and the fact that is has a mirror is an added plus.

NUDESTIX Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil

Matte Lipsticks without the dry, chapped lip look is what we’ve all been searching for since the trend popped up once again — and NUDESTIX hit the mark with their Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencils . If you aren’t familiar with the brand, it’s time to get acquainted with this easy to use, cruelty-free brand that makes makeup so simple and fun with it’s multi purpose pencils for eyes, lips and face.

NUDESTIX Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencils come in eight waterproof (and kiss proof colors) that go on like velvet and claim to last up to 6 hours without fading. They all come in their cute, on-the-go mirrored tin that stores a couple of pencils in your purse or bag for easy touch ups.

As with most matte lip colors, it’s recommended to buff your lips before applying so you get a smooth, long-lasting look so I made sure to gently exfoliate with some shea butter and a toothbrush so they were prepped and ready for color. Before coloring in my lips, I primed them with NUDESTIX’s Blur Pencil, a multi-tasking pencil that minimizes pores, fine lines, and prevents feathering of color on the lips. This invisible pencil uses Hyaluronic acid spheres penetrate the skin and plump while Vitamin C and E soothe — all things my lips could appreciate.(Along with my forehead which has some lines I’d like to hide)

I was able to try two colors from the Intense Lip + Cheek line, Belle (listed as a plum nude but leans toward a peachy color for me) and Raven ( described as a deep red on the Sephora site, but best described as a wine red on my lips).

I found the blur pencil allowed me to easily switch between colors without staining the lips and allowed the color to apply smoothly.  The lip pencils went on like velvet, no tugging or pulling and didn’t zap the moisture from my already chapped-prone lips. I did not test the pencils as cheek color because I prefer a pressed powder for that and I would be afraid of not blending the pencil properly on my cheeks.

You can find NUDESTIX products available at Sephora and online at  Each Intense Matte Lip +Cheek pencil retails for $24 each which is reasonable when you account for its multipurpose abilities as well as how long the product lasts.
