Great Amazon Beauty Finds

I think I became an avid Amazon shopper ever since I had a kid. The convenience of ordering just about ANYTHING I could ever need in one place became a lifesaver when I found myself home alone with a newborn. I didn’t like venturing out to different stores because my daughter would have crying episodes that would send me into a panic worrying it was bothering anything. Fast forward four years and the crying of a kid in a store is like background music to me. If I ever had a second kid I would definitely not worry as much about things like that  — however it did make me a die-hard Amazon shopper.

But I don’t just use Amazon for necessities. It’s FUN to shop on Amazon because I can find so many great things there! I’ve discovered awesome workout wear and even beauty products that hit all the marks for me. I thought it would be fun to share some of the interesting beauty finds I’ve found on Amazon. Some are old favorites and some are new but all have gotten my seal of approval and would be purchased again when the time comes.

CosRX acne pimple master patches – $15

These babies are a lifesaver when you a bad pimple. If you have a white head these hydrocolloid patches work by sucking up and out any fluid out of the pimple. Any time I have used these patches, my pimple has flattened and healed in no time. They say you only need to wear them at night, but they are pretty inconspicuous on the face. Plenty of times I have worn them all day (only replacing when I see the white bubble of fluid sucked into the patch) and then headed off to Target or the Market without realizing it was still on my face! There are much more expensive versions I have found at brick and mortar stores but these by far stay on the skin the best and work quickly. They don’t have any medicine in them — it just pulls that fluid out of the pimple! Treat yourself to this four pack and keep them handy when those breakouts hit!

Stacked Skincare Dermaplaning Tool – $75

I’ve had mine for about 3-4 years now and buy the replacement blades, but if you haven’t tried dermaplaning you are missing out! Imagine being able to remove all peach fuzz and dead skin cells off your skin before applying skincare or makeup? Your skin will absorb products better, and your skin will act as a better canvas for makeup application. The blades do have a super fine thin wire to protect yourself from accidents (but still be careful — it is still a very sharp blade!) and since they are replaceable it cuts down on waste. You’d be amazed what will come off your face and NO it will not make hair grow back faster or thicker — guys, please. STOP with that nonsense. This is a little tool that you will love!

My Solemate Foot Scrubber – $13

I’ve talked about these plenty in my Instagram stories – and have been using them on and off for at least 5 years now. This soap and pumice combo makes feet soft and smooth and has been a great tool for helping me keep calluses under control for my hands. Since I’ve picked up weightlifting in the past 5 years, my hands have developed calluses that were starting to hurt and potentially tear while working out. I scrub my palms with the soap and pumice, and it keeps them smooth and free of snags and makes them less noticeable in both look and feel. The one I have pictured is made for athletes foot since it has the added bonus of tea tree oil, but the one I have in my shower has charcoal infused soap. There is also a lemongrass scented soap too!

Ice Roller for face and body – $10

I first learned about these from HonestlyJamie.com and was intrigued enough to grab one for myself. The larger roller head feels good on the face when you have a headache, but I find it helps when you need to calm a breakout or any skin irritation. I get a stress-induced type of dermatitis and I use this daily to help calm the skin throughout the day. I keep mine in the freezer and just put it back when I’m done.

Amirce Electric Jade Roller Face massager – $17

I learned about this face massager from Jen of My Beauty Bunny! If you don’t like a cold massage for your face, you may enjoy the vibration of this one. This battery-operated massager has two different heads, one is a typical roller while the other is a circular coin shape. This feels so good on my sinuses which tend to get pressure all the time and can help relax the muscles of the face with its 6000 vibrations per minute. You can also use this after you apply skincare products to help with better absorption. The headpieces are rose quartz and not plastic which I prefer and comes with a wiping cloth and pouch for storing.

Cure Gel – $36

I’ve never seen an exfoliation quite like this cult favorite from Japan, but I needed to give it a try and see what the hype was all about. This exfoliator can be used on face and body and doesn’t work by chemical or granular exfoliation — but rather by catching the top dead layer of skin and rolling it off. The key is to apply to completely dry skin and massage it in as it turns a milky white color. You don’t need to scrub hard, just massage in a circular motion and you will begin to see piling of product and dead skin cells and then rinse off. Usage will be different for everyone, but they recommend up to two times a week and can be used on face and body (think elbows, knees, heels, etc.)

Manuka Honey UMF 10+ – $25

You might be wondering why I have some random “pricey” honey on this list. Manuka Honey is like my little natural beauty and health secret ingredient. Manuka Honey is like no other honey out there. It comes from New Zealand and has antibacterial properties and is certified with the UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) to indicate it’s potency. This special honey comes from the Manuka tree, and its potency is measured by the amount of leptosperin, dihydroxyacetone, and methylglyoxyl it contains. The combination of these three components give it special antibacterial powers that help with clearing acne, helping sores heal (really – it’s even used in hospitals), and supports overall better health. I really enjoy using Manuka Honey in my hot drinks and it has a slightly different taste than most other honey I’ve tried. I also like to make facial masks from it as well. If you buy Manuka Honey it’s important to check the UMF levels and understand what you are buying. A 10+ supports general health and wellness while higher numbers like 25+ will be more expensive because it has higher amounts of Methylglyoxol in it.

  1. You definitely got some terrific beauty items from Amazon! I’m interested in the vibrating jade roller. I have to give some thought to dermaplaning. I have an exfoliator that works the same way as Cure, and I love it. Best ever

  2. I love Amazon and buy so much from there. To my husband it’s THE place to shop. Luckily we have Prime since he orders from there constantly. I too love Cure. It’s been so great for my skin. I love what you’ve shared. So many that I use too.
