It’s been a while since I’ve gotten excited about hair products but Pacifica Beauty has been killing it with some of their latest product releases, two being new haircare lines that I’ve tried, tested, and approved.

Pacifica Beauty is an affordable vegan and cruelty-free beauty line that includes makeup, skincare, and haircare. You can find them at stores like Target, ULTA, and sometimes select grocery marts. I really like the Pacifica line because the products not only keep our animal friends in mind, but they make their products fun while still being effective, and they don’t break the bank like half of the other stuff I buy!

Got Hair Damage?

Pacifica came out with their Coco Peptide line for dry and damaged hair. As someone who has forked over a lot of money for reparative hair treatments like Olaplex and Celeb Luxury, Pacifica’s Coco Peptide line is an awesome alternative for those that just don’t want to breach that price point.

Are they exactly the same? No. But will you feel a difference in your hair? Yes! The Coco Peptide products are silicone-free and contain vegan collagen and copper peptides to smooth, stimulate growth, and hydrate your locks. It works for fine and thick hair, and is color-safe!

I really appreciate how nicely this rinses from my hair and doesn’t leave it feeling like I have a heavy treatment on it. I was testing a similar product but a different brand and I had to give the products away because my hair was flat and heavy looking. Pacifica’s Coco Peptide haircare leaves my hair feeling sleek and smooth.

The line includes a shampoo, conditioner, and concentrated leave-in hair mask for added damage control. I use all three! The mask not so much, but I do like it and use it when I see it. I use very little when I do. A dime size for hair that reaches my armpits.

The shampoo and conditioner are $10 each and the leave-in treatment is $18. If you have damaged or really dry hair I recommend this line. You can start off with the shampoo and conditioner and if you feel like your hair still needs help add in the leave-in treatment. You will see a difference! P.S the Coco Peptide line smells like coconuts!

Hair Feels Thirsty?

Pacifica just sent me their Vegan Collagen Haircare line this week and…….I love it too! This one is specially designed for dry hair in need of deep moisture. My hair is long and I consider it fine. It’s full, but fine. So products can make it heavy and weigh it down really quick.

I love the beautiful floral scent of this one, I wish it lingered a bit more through the day since it’s a very pretty light scent (jasmine). The shampoo and conditioner are a dream to use since it leaves my hair very easy to comb. I’ve tried the leave-in mask from this line, but I  feel like I don’t need it since the shampoo and conditioner do such a great job of making my hair feel smooth and manageable.

This line uses fermented biomemetic vegan collagen peptides to strengthen each strand and improve elasticity. Jasmine extract and avocado oil smooth and hydrate for glossy tresses. The Vegan Collagen line follows the same price points, $10 for shampoo & conditioner, and the leave-in treatment is $18.

Since these are also carried at Target, you can also take a whiff of the scent to see if you like it and decide if it’s for you. I say start with the shampoo and conditioner and see if the mask is needed.

Overall, both of these lines worked out great for my fine, color-treated hair. I love that they won’t break the bank, and that they strive to use clean ingredients while remaining cruelty-free. I like to switch back and forth between the two sets because my hair responds to both so well. Have you tried any haircare from Pacifica? I think these are really worth looking into.
