Healthy, luminous skin is always in whether it’s Summer or Winter. It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, I always take the time to exfoliate and use lotion so my skin never feels dry. But sometimes, you want a little extra oomf and that’s where wet n wild MegaGlo Body Luminizers come in. You can get them exclusively at Walmart, and I’m going to share a little beauty secret with you guys: Luminizers make your skin look like a million bucks while only spending ten.

I discovered this years back when I was in my twenties and would mix my mineral powder makeup with lotion to highlight my collar bone, shoulders and arms when I would go out for the night. Fast forward to now and we have wet n wild MegaGlo Body Luminizers that are easy to use, not messy, and have a buildable formula so you can get that perfect glow.

MegaGlo Body Luminizers come in three shades: Heart of Rosegold, Gold Rush, and Invested in Bronze. Each luminizer is made of a moisturizing base that feels like an oil, with micro-fine pearl pigments swirling about. This is NOT glittery, this is pure glow. Macadamia Nut, Passionfruit Seed, and Grapefruit seed are just a few of the skin-nourishing ingredients that give this budget friendly luminizer a luxurious feel. Rumors say this is very similar to a pricier, very popular luminizer but is accessible to more of us who need to watch our wallets, and works just as well.

wet n wild megaglo body luminizer review by iliketotalkblogI love that I can pick this up at Walmart which is on my way home from the gym. I can grab the few essentials we need, maybe some non-essential tubs of ice cream…and a walk down the makeup aisle when I have a few extra minutes to spare. The wet n wild section was right on the end of the first aisle I walked down so it was basically meant to happen. Thank goodness they had the entire section fully stocked so I was able to grab all three shades and give them a test.

wet n wild megaglo body luminizer review by iliketotalkblogThe MegaGlo Body Luminizers can best be described as a gel oil in my opinion. Before using you need to give the bottle a good shake and roll liked you’d do with your nail polish to make sure that it’s completely mixed before using. I like to use this all over my arms, chest and neck and it helps if you have previously fully moisturized so it applies evenly. It also works great on the legs for that nice sheen when the light catches it. With one pump you’ll feel how it sits on the skin like a gel, but when you rub it in, it begins to feel more like a dry oil as it continues to absorb. It can be quite natural looking if you use only a little bit, or you can build layers for a little more gleam.

There is a light rose scent with this product, that I notice more at application time, but really have to sniff my arm to notice it later. I love that I can use this basically all over, year round depending on whether I go out on a date with my husband, or are taking photos for the blog. It’s such a easy way to add a little something extra to you look and is fun to use without feeling over the top.  For just under ten dollars a bottle, these are a great little add on gift for any beauty enthusiast. Also a great stocking stuffer!

  1. Because it’s so cold here (below freezing for Thanksgiving), I’m bundled up in layers, but I would love love love to try these body luminizers from WnW. I love the fact that they glow rather than glitter. I need to go somewhere warm just to use them!
