It’s rare I find time to talk about clothes here, so I’m really excited to share with you guys! Over the past year, my collection of CRZ Yoga pieces has grown. I love exploring new brands when it comes to leggings and figuring out which ones work best for me.
CRZ Yoga has a pretty big variety of athletic wear, more than I could actually even need! What I really appreciate is that they keep their items affordable. Leggings and lounge pants are usually under $30, tops are $20-30, sports bra are $15-25, and outerwear is under $40. Being that everything is so affordable, I’m really able to build a small collection of my own in lots of colors and styles.
Recently, CRZ Yoga came out with their Butterluxe collection — a new line of leggings that rival the softness of lulu naked feeling leggings but at a different price point. While most of CRZ Yogas items are available on Amazon, this particular collection is housed strictly on their site (for now).
Butterluxe leggings have a high-waist, 25” inseam, and a seamless waistband with no annoying elastic strip in it. All this adds up to smooth, luxuriously soft, and flattering leggings suitable for yoga and lounging. The ones I chose have no pockets, but there is a version with outer pockets if you choose.
The color range will appeal to those who prefer solid colors in earthy and neutral shades.
I grabbed three colors to see how they felt, and I have to admit they feel pretty slinky while staying cotton-y and soft. There is no “shine” to this fabric and it has light compression to smooth and not SQUEEZE the body. I like heavier compression when I do lifts, but light compression can work when I do light training, running, or simply want to wear leggings for the day.
I love how smoothing the waist feels — this is the type of waistband I prefer instead of the ones with an elastic string that magnifies any sausagification of the torso. No one likes feeling like a busted can of biscuits, but do all love feeling hugged by our leggings.
I absolutely fell in LOVE with the mustard green color of leggings. It’s not super bright, nor is it a dull color. It is a fun color that is unexpected and I’ll be wearing these the most, I know it.
I paired each of these leggings with a Naked Feeling Soft Longline Bra which has very pretty lines and structure to it. It’s longline design looks really nice paired with the high-waisted leggings but would look just as great with anything you chose. The bra does have removable pads for modesty, and I throw them in the wash with everything else.
The inseam length is very important for me since I’m 5’4” and prefer shorter options. This 25” inseam falls right above my ankle bone for a perfect ⅞ length.

Omagad I’m LIVING for that green color! It’s such a unique shade!
I love the look of those leggings, and the price point is terrific. It’s cold here now in the Boston area so I need heavier running tights, unfortunately. But those would be great for the spring and fall. I love the waistline. Some of my running tights still have elastic and drawstring, and this style is so much better. I will keep CRZ Yoga in mind. I especially love the blue.
